Our location benefits from amazing natural light and the first-floor balcony in our main hall provides a view overlooking the river across to Walthamstow Marshes.
You can rent our versatile spaces for parties, weddings, meetings, sports team celebrations, workshops, corporate events, christmas parties, film locations, training sessions, etc. We have a large hall with balcony and kitchen access, a smaller studio/classroom and even outdoor spaces with BBQ and Pizza oven. We are easy to get to by public transport. We offer a large, secure, hard-surface outdoor are.. It can be used as a convenient car park for your guests or transformed into a unique film location base.

Leaside is a not-for-profit organisation and therefore offer great value for hiring our spaces. We’ve provided a unique space for events in London for over 30 years. Many clients have used our facilities to host unforgettable gatherings, creating lasting memories and successful events.

● Main Hall (Capacity up to 120)
Our large main hall can cater for up to 120 people standing or 80 seated (depending on your
layout). The hall measures 14m by 7m and has an adjacent balcony that is 14m by 2m which
is ideal for outdoor drinks.
Cost – £60.00 per hour (min 2 hrs) during the day
Cost £90.00 per hour evening (min 4 hours)

● Indoor Studio Classroom (Capacity up to 30)
Our indoor studio/classroom can cater for up to 30 people and is ideal for small gatherings,
team workshops, yoga, dance and pilate classes etc.
£40.00 per hour Mon to Sunday all day (2 hour min to allow set-up and clear up)

● Outside Classroom; Pizza/BBQ Area (Capacity up to 100) to enjoy an outdoor space

Our secluded outdoor space is perfect for hosting small gatherings during the summer months utilising the BBQ and Pizza Oven which overlooks the River Lea and Walthamstow Marshes.

● Canal Boat Hire (up to 12 people)
Our Narrowboat Martin Sinclair is available for both full and half day bookings along our local waterways. She is equipped with a small kitchenette, an open space cabin and a chemical toilet. The Martin Sinclair is ideal for family outings, birthday parties, Bar or Bat Mitzvahs and similar events. Our skippers are qualified and experienced and are happy to let you get involved in steering the boat and operating the locks. The boat can take up to 12 people.

NOTE: All trips are to and from The Leaside Trust in Hackney. Additional cost may apply if different pickup/dropoff points are arranged.
