We have a fantastic schools programme to enhance youth learning in the outdoors. Our sessions are linked to the requirements of the national curriculum and PE lessons. We offer one-off and regular sessions for primary, secondary, sixth form schools and colleges as well as special education needs schools and those with disabilities. We have also joined forces with EcoActive to offer hybrid sessions where we blend theory sessions in our classroom with outdoor activity sessions.
Outdoor sports and adventure are excellent experiential learning experiences which increase self-confidence, leadership and communication skills. Young people perform tasks with their critical thinking skills and execute them with their abilities giving them a better understanding of the concepts. The learning of new skills and having fun at the same time is a great way to build self-esteem, self-resilience and improve teamwork. Additional benefits include improved physical health and wellbeing which also improves concentration, analytical thinking and problem solving.
